Ordino Technologies and Regular Practice announce a new joint venture.

Ordino Technologies was founded by Sheret and Harrington after their departure from Colophon to partner with creative studios and bring nascent ideas to market. The company has now joined forces with Regular Practice, known for their playful yet considered approach to building visual identities and brands.

Together, they are launching a new company creating infrastructure for studio-wide visual intelligence, combining both teams' strengths in technology and design. The product is set to launch in late Summer 2025.

"We've always admired how Regular Practice balances creativity with precision," said Sheret. "We first met Tom Finn and Kristoffer Soelling at the Royal College of Art, London, and this venture brings that connection full circle. It combines their design sensibility with our approach to systems and strategy. It's the kind of collaboration we've wanted to do for a long time. We're excited for creative studios and companies to see how this tool can support their day-to-day workflow."

We've spent the last 15 years building Colophon Foundry, rising from a partnership to the number two type foundry by revenue in EMEA. Colophon was responsible for some of the most recognisable creative work in the last decade, helping to define brands for Google, Meta, Johnson & Johnson, Burger King, Roblox, Canva and many more. An estimated 2 billion people continue to see its output each day.

At the end of 2023, the business was acquired by a trade buyer. We've decided to apply some of our lived experiences into a new venture; Ordino.
